Unwanted WINS traffic

I have a w2k server that seems be sending WINS updates to
some servers on the internet. some of these address are
active and some are not. I also have a local WINS server
on my intranet behind a firewall. I have verified that my
server is configured in the TCP/IP properties to only look
at this one. Is there any way I can stop the traffic
coming from this server? Is there a why to possibily
disable WINS use on this server.

This server is SP4 and patch with all of the latest
security patches.

Just remove the WINS IP# from this server's network settings and leave it
blank. It is on the wrong side of the firewall,...the IP# shouldn't be there
in the first place. You can't access a WINS server with a firewall in
between anyway.
