When ever I am on the web, when I click on a hyperlink, or go back/forwards,
I get a sound/wave file that sounds like a dripping noise. I have gone thru
the control panel/sounds many times and have previewed all the sounds
associated with anything, and this "dripping noise" is not there at all.
It is very annoying and I can't figure out how to get rid of it.
Any ideas?
Thanx!

Hi
In Internet Explorer, Goto "Tools", "Internet Options", click the "Advanced
TAB", scroll down untill you come to the "Multimedia Section" and untick the
"Play Sounds in Web Pages" selection.

Hi, tried it and it didn't work. Still get the #$$%^% (:> dripping noise.
It happens about 5 times in a row when I open Internet Explorer, and then
again once when I click on any hyperlink. Any other ideas?
Thanx!!

Hi,
Are you using pest patrol, if so delete the file "cookiecrunch.wav" located
in c:/program files/pest patrol/ that should do the trick.

Regards

John
