Unwanted Porn Links

Mark

My PC seems to be infected with links to a porn site(s).
Shortcuts to 'Daily Adult Links' shows up in my start
folder. In Internet Explorer or even Control Panel, if I
go to the View menu then Link, there are options for
Links and Adult Links. I haven't found any way to delete
these.

I purchase NoAdware in hopes of removing all this stuff,
but no luck. This is driving me nuts! I can't let me
daughter near the computer out of fear of porn pop-ups,
etc. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Sounds like you need a firewall. Also, a program you
downloaded installed something. You need to check
msconfig and look for unwanted programs. Also
check "Services" for unwanted automatic services. After
you stop all that crap from running at startup then
delete all the unwanted stuff. Then install a firewall to
tell you what runs and get ad blocking. I use Norton IS.
It blocks ads and has firewall and trojan blocks.
