Delete porn from My documents

C

Carolyn

I have porn in my documents. I have tryed for days to
get it all out. But still have a site back into it.
This is where it is in steps. 1---Start---2---rc My
Documents---3---rc--Folder---4---brings up Adult Links and
some other Adult misc stuff. If I clink on Adult it
brings up a whole list of Adult Links. I have tryed to
go into Adult Links and Uninstall, it did not work.
I have tryed Manual Unisstallation using regedit and the
#'s 965e6b07-6832-4738-bdbe-25f226ba2ab0 and it did not
work. I have tryed Dell support, Earthlink support,
and Microsoft support and nothing has helped me. What
suggest do you have, please.

Carolyn;
It is probably spyware.
Run an updated virus scan.
Or Scan for Viruses online:
http://security.symantec.com/ssc/home.asp?j=1&langid=ie&venid=sym&plfid=23&pkj=IRLFIZTYMWPAZTJWUFJ
Run Disk Cleanup checking all boxes except "Compress old files"
(Windows XP)
Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/Disk Clean-up
Check this link:
http://www.aumha.org/a/noads.php
Run Ad-Aware (free version) or Spybot to check for spyware:
http://www.lavasoft.de/ (Update if you already have it)
Or
http://spybot.eon.net.au/ (Update if you already have it)

Hi Carolyn,

I think you might want to open windows explorer first.
Press the Windows key on your keyboard along with the
letter e. Go to the "program files" folder and see if
there is are folders you know nothing about. Look in these
folders and see if you can find anything odd. I'm sure
there is something there that is causing the problem.

Once you have detremined what the offending program is,
right click on the folder, hold the shift key and click on
delete. But forward the link here first..hehe.
