Unwanted Personal Calendar

G

Gonzalo

For years, I had rules for moving everything from my mailbox to different
personal folders. Those rules didn't discriminate if the item being moved was
an email message or a meeting request.

In the case of meeting requests, I never had problems to open them from my
personal folders, accept them and have them automatically posted to my online
Calendar, receive the corresponding reminders, etc. It was transparent.

But some days ago, I noticed that the meeting requests that I accepted were
not being posted to my online Calendar, that I was not receiving any more
reminders, and that other persons wanting to send me new meeting requests
were unable to see my busy time when checking my availability.

The investigation revealed that, somehow, a Personal Calendar has come to
life, and that all new accepted meeting requests are being posted to it.

Even though I didn't create the unwanted Personal Calendar voluntarily,
Outlook does not give me the option to delete it.

How can I configure Outlook to go back to working as it always did, and
ignore the existence of the Personal Calendar?

Using Outlook 2003 SP3 with a corporate Exchange Server.

Thanks

is the Exchange server set as the default delivery location? Look in tools,
email accounts,

that's weird. The symptoms point to the pst as the default delivery
location. Try a new profile. Then once its working correctly, open the pst.
Move any calendar items back to the mailbox then you can delete the calendar
folder.
