unwanted image001.emz attachments

for several months i find that I am sending "image001.emz" attachments with
my emails. What is this? I want to stop this from happening? Can you help
me?

Do you have a signature that holds an image?

I get these yucky emz things often, so do my correspondents, they're a pest. Is it just because my signature holds an image? Be grateful for any light on the subject!!
