Unwanted deletions

My previously stable installation of Outlook 2007 has suddenly started
sending random incoming e-mails to the deleted folder on send-and-receive.
This INCLUDES e-mails from trusted sources under my Spam rules as well as
messages showing no spam criteria. I take it that this is a consequence of
one or more recent update downloads. How can I stop this please?

Does this still happen when you disable all your rules?
Do you have a 3rd party add-in installed which could move emails? Most
notably a 3rd party ant-spam add-in and a virus scanner which integrates
with Outlook. Disable these add-ins and try again.
