Unwanted Changes to Favorites

I liked Favorites 'til today when a click on it brought
up only a partial list. why can I no longer get the whole
list?
 
IE> Tools> Internet Options> Advanced> Browsing... uncheck "Enable
personalized favorites menu."

Personalized favorites menu shows only recently used favorites.
