Unwanted Boot-up Window

Just recently, everytime I boot my machine (XP on a Pent
III) it comes up with an open Windows Explorer window.
How do I get rid of this thing? I've tried closing it and
rebooting, but it just keeps coming.

Typically startup programs are found in StartUp folder (usually C:\Documents
and Settings\Default User\Start Menu\Programs\Startup),
So you can check if explorer.exe is present there or the other way could be
to
go to ->Start/Run/Msconfig and uncheck the program.
Unchecking listings does not remove the entry, it only disables them.

Unfortunately, there's nothing in that folder. Also
nothing in the folder on the same path under my name (at
least nothing related to the Explorer window.

Oddly enough, when I went in through MSCONFIG, I found
the folder listed, but it was already unchecked, so there
was no way I could uncheck it. (I haven't yet tried
checking it.)
