I am getting .gif images attached to my HTML formated email messages. I do
nothing to attach them, they just appear. WERE are they comming from and how
DO I get rid of them?

The .gif are the only "images". I can send a message with nothing, or the
word test. It only happens with HTML messages, not RTF or TXT formated
messages. The content of the message makes no difference. There doesn't have
to be an attachment or anything.

The .gifs do not appear on composition, only they are attached as part of
the sending process from my machine.
