Unverified E-mail address

I recently registered my e-mail address with Passport. I
am still having "E-mail address not verified" against my
name when I use Windows Messenger. This is despite the
fact that I have clicked on "Verify my E-mail address" in
the file menu. The problem is that I don't seem to be
receiving the verification e-mail from Passport.
Does anyone have any idea as to how I can recify this?

Greetings Sumit,

You may need to wait up to 48 hours for the verification e-mail to arrive. If it still
hasn't arrived then, you'll need to request another verification e-mail from Passport
Services:
http://register.passport.net/contactus.srf

Note: just clicking the option within the File menu will not verify your address.
