XP Pro. Outlook Express. Norton Antispam. I know this question doesn't have
much to do with Windows but I just installed Norton Antispam and it will not
work with the hotmail account that is configured in OE. I have searched the
Symantec website for over an hour trying to get to the message board they
speak of and cannot find it. Does anyone know where I can find this phantom
symantec message board? Does Symantec not have e-mail support anymore? I just
want to ask if OE, hotmail and Antispam work together or not. I don't want to
pay Symantec $29.99 for a phone call and one simple question.

I believe it works on Hotmail access from Outlook, but Hotmail in OE has
never been formally supported by MS (just eternal beta status).

Outlook has a special extender for Hotmail (I guess to make it POP3
accessible) where it's HTTP-only in OE, and that's where NA may fall down.

Someone in the OE newsgroups may have a clearer idea.

Thanks Mike,

I think you may be right. After all the time I spent at Symantec I did find
something about Outlook but not OE.
