I have a chess program on my computer that I haven't even
touched for almost a year now. And yet in the past few
months the icon for it (a knight) pops up on the Start
Menu in that list of recently used programs. I thought it
might be related to a virus I had that was hard to get
rid of but I have since ridded the computer of it but the
chess icon still pops up on my Start Menu.
Is someone using my chess program as a Trojan horse? Is
that icon not the chess program but something else? Has
someone hacked into my computer and left something in my
chess program (my Norton says it's clean)? Is this a
hacker calling card? Or is this just a simple stupid XP
glitch?
