unspecified erroe

This is the message I get when I try to open movie maker. I tried to
reinstall sp2 but that didn't help. Is there a solution for this?

There are a few different things there you can try.
One thing I haven't put there yet is that if you Movie Maker set up to
automatically load the last project you worked on and the project has a
problem then Movie Maker could crash on open. To solve this simply rename
the project from .MSWMM to something like .SAV or whatever extension you
want then WMM may open.
