When ever I try to import video, I get the following message:

C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\My Videos\inky_cutscene_par.wmv
could not be imported.
Unspecified error

What should I do, is there a way to reinstall movie maker?

Technically you can't reinstall Movie Maker
You can reinstall SP2 which will in turn reinstall Movie Maker.

should you need to.
Also check out the codec problems section because I actually think that's
probably the issue.
