Please help (codec problems)

Every time I try to import a video or when ever I try opening a narrated
audio, the following occurs:

The file C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\My
Videos\Narration\Untitled Narration.wma cannot be imported because the codec
required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have
already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows
Movie Maker, and then try to import the file again.


IT DOESN'T EVEN TELL ME WHAT CODEC IS REQUIRED TO DOWNLOAD TO EDIT ON MOVIE
MAKER. BUT THESE VIDEOS-- I CAN PERFECTLY WATCH THEM ON MY WINDOWS MEDIA
PLAYER 11. ITS JUST THAT MOVIE MAKER WONT OPEN THEM...

I GOTTA A HUGE PROJECT DUE SOON!

Do you have Anti-virus software and up2date, if yes try to scan your system
for Viruses and also for malwares by installing or running your application.

the link you sent me had absolutely nothing to do with movie maker! It was
about power point. (thanks anyways), other than that my anti-spyware, and
anti-virus is running normally. Do you have any other suggestions??
