Unsolved Outlook irritation

On opening Outlook the headings in the Navigation Pane are truncated
unevenly ie Inbox Ann says Inbox An ~ half the x is missing on Outbox ~ the
l is missing on Junk E-mail etc. If I collapse the Personal Folders heading
and then expand it the words appear OK. Shutdown Outlook and re-open, same
thing happens. What could cause this. Not a big problem but it's irritating
me now!! I have a screen capture of it if necessary

Try starting Outlook one time with the /resetnavpane switch. See Outlook's
help for instructions - use command line switches for the search criterium.

Thank you for trying - regretably the command switch routine didn't cure it.
Have you any other solutions.

Did you try any other of the command lines? How about a new mail profile?
Video card up to date with the latest drivers?
