"Unsolicited Message Received"

A box appears on the screen that says only "Unsolicited
Message Received". The box does not give any explanation,
nor does it allow for any investigation...all you can do
is click on it to make it go away. The same box appears
at least once every day. What does this message box
mean? What are these unsolicited messages it is
announcing and where are they going?
