unsharing printers

We have a network at school and we all share files usch as
pictures etc. The problem is my printer is attached and
always on and I dont want other people using it. When they
connect to my computer, they can see my entire printers
folder even though I have not shared any of them. I am
runnig Win XP Home. Is there a way I can stop my printer
folder being shared?

Thank you.

looks like you are shairng out your whole drive or a
parent folder and by defualt the sharing is permeating
subfodlers i assume your drive is ntfs in which case
browse to your printers folder or folders and right click
it then click on properties-then clcik on the security tab-
highlght everyone- and then ciick on -the deny check box -
against Full Control- then clcik apply and ok that should
work
