So I was testing out the security wizard, now I want to remove the security
settings from the database. I'm thinking that it is not as simple as deleting
the secured.mdw file.

The wizard should have created a backup of your file. Just revert to that.

I have the same problem. I've tried to re-install Acess 2003, but now I
can't get into any database I have without passwords

The wizard created a backup of your unsecured mdb. It will have the same
name but a bak extension. Rename it to have a mdb extension.
