Secured/Unsecured database on server

I have two databases on a server, one secured and one
unsecured. My shortcut for the secured database points to
the secured.mdw file & works good. Since the unsecured
database has no mdw file, what can I point that shortcut
to so that it doesnt automatically assume the secured.mdw?

Don't point to any MDW in the shortcut and then your default
non-secure mdw will be used. If your default is the secured
MDW then there would be no need to use that in the shortcut
for the secured file.
