unrouteable mail domain error

I am using Outlook 2002. Whenever I try to e-mail a particular person I get
the following error message:

"This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

xxx@#######.com
unrouteable mail domain "#######.com"

This does not happen with anyone else I e-mail. Is there something that I
need to change in Outlook, or something that the recipient needs to change?

Sounds like you have the wrong email address for the person. In
particular, double-check the domain (the part after the '@').

The e-mail address is correct. I can send e-mail to the same address through
my hotmail account without any problems. Any other ideas?

Who provides your POP3/SMTP account - an ISP, a company work for, someone
else? It sounds like the outgoing server you're using can't, for some
reason, send to that domain. Can you send to anybody else at that domain?
