unregmp2.exe error during install/repair

I have the same error as David A. Another websites say this is a problem with the CD (WinXP Pro SP1) and the fix is to rename the file MSDART.dll to MSDART32.dll. That is great but I am stuck in a setup loop. Can't seem to break out of the upgrade. If I boot to a floppy disk, I cannot see my C:\ drive. How can this problem be resolved? HELP!!!

Hi, I broke the loop by holding down the "Windows" Key
and hitting the "OK" button many times. I was also
hitting the ALT button and the CTRL out of frustration....
many times. Good luck
