T TMitchell Sep 15, 2004 #3 Thank you for the reply. Is there a way to disable the Java update check exe?
G Gert B. Frob Sep 18, 2004 #4 The Java update can be turned off via Java's console. You can also use Msconfig, available here: http://www2.whidbey.net/djdenham/Msconfig.htm Wouldn't hurt to install Msconfig in any event so you can see all startup items and their origin.
