I am using office 2003 and have just fired up outlook. the first two genuine
messages I got that I have read and deleted now constantly show up as unread
message alerts under my user name when I boot up or my system is resting. All
folders in outlook have been cleared. and I still have this warning. How do I
remove this?

Thanks milly,
Ifound a file called "message count". changed that to 0 and it seems to have
worked. hopefully havent done any inadvertant damage. Seemed like a
complicated fix for a small problem.
Elemental.
