Unread mail icon not appearing

Vayse

Hi
When I get email in, the desktop alert will appear for a few seconds,
telling me I have new email. Now, an icon used to appear in my task bar to
tell me I have unread mail. That no longer appears.
How do I turn it back on?
Thanks
Vayse

If you're using Windows XP, it may be a notification configuration issue.
Right-click the Notification Area of the Taskbar (by the clock) and choose
"Customize Notifications". Locate the "You have new unopened items" icon
and change the behavior to "Always show". Click OK, then OK.
