unread email messages

when you start XP the page with all of the users comes
up. my account says i have 3 unread email messages but
it's not my email address! It's my friend's that checked
her email at my house ONCE while I check my email
everyday! How do I change this setting so that it will
notify me about MY unread email messages instead of a
different email address? HELP! This bothers the bejeebies
out of me! :)Thanx a bunch!

Laurie,

If you have XP SP1 installed, download TweakUI and goto REpair options and
repair "unread mails". This should reset all the mail accounts wrt unread
mail count.

Download Tweakui from Microsoft site:
