Unprotect aSheet

Hree is my problem. I set a protection using Tool --
Proection . But later on I tried to unprotect the sheet
but the unproect submanu is disable. I could not even
enter any data.

Syem Info: Excel 2003
Operating system Windows XP
 
After you protected the worksheet, did you share the workbook
(Tools>Share Workbook)?

You can't change the protection of a shared workbook.
