Unable to unprotect an Excel Worksheet

I have numerous worksheets I use in my job. I protect the data by protecting
the worksheet. I do not use a password for this. I have one workbook which
I cannot unprotect the sheet. When I click on tools, protection, the
unprotect button is grayed out and is not available as an option for me. Any
ideas how I can unprotect fix this?

Hi,

My guess is that it's a shared workbook and you must unshare, unprotect and
re-share.
