Unmovable Files

We have a new Sony Vaio with Win XP. The C drive is 14
gb; D is 165 gb; E is 185 gb. The C drive came with 11 gb
preloaded. It seems to have an inordinate amount of disk
space dedicated to unmovable files. Can anyone tell me
what the "unmovable files" are and why there would be so
many of them? What percentage of a hard drive is usually
dedicated to such files? What are our options? Anything
help will be appreciated.

Can't say exactly what the unmoveable files are but mine
amount to something less than 5% of the drive total.

Sorry, forgot to mention that the main unmoveable file on
any disk is the specified paging file
(drive:\pagefile.sys)
