I'm working on a Compaq Presario 533ous. When I boot up I get this error,(
unmountable_Boot_Volume). I checked at the Compaq site and they said I
needed to order a Cd for that problem. It said CD will allow the user to boot
to the Recovery Consol run the CHKDSK command. What I want to know is there a
fix for this or something I can try that doestn't require me to order that
CD.
Thanks In Avdvance,

I assume you don't have a XP CD, if you did you can boot from that CD and go
to the recovery console. You can download a set of boot disks from MS (6 in
total) that will give you the options as a windows XP boot CD.

Hi,
You don't need to save them to a floppy. Save the files as normal then when
you have all 6 you can create useable floppy disks from the files you have
downloaded. (it will become obvious when you have downloaded them)

best of luck

download it to my pc without it hurting my pc and copy it to disk from
