Darren

I currently have a problem with one of my users log on ID.
When the user selects his icon to log on into XP Pro, it
keeps coming up with account locked contact administrator.
I am the system administrator for this system, but have
never come across this one before?????

Please could you advise how to unlock the user's account???

Many Thanks
Darren

I assume he is on the network. Di dyo check the network policy for deny
local login?

For XP Pro: Start, Run and enter LUSRMGR.MSC Open the Users folder and double click the user account in question.

For XP Home: Start, Run and enter CMD Then enter NET USER /? for the command line options for the NET USER command.

For example, NET USER <username> /Active:Yes
