Unknown "Send" Messages

I am using MS Outlook 2007. Everytime I open it or try to receive messages,
Outlook Information Bar shows "Sending 1 of 6". However I do not see any
message in the Outbox. Neither I had attampted to create any outgoing message.

Is it because of some configuration issues or is it because of some
virus/trojan etc. in my system?
