Running Windows 2000 Server. For the past 2 days, the
server has appeard to randomly reboot. The server is
configured to record trap information, but none was
recorded. The are no entries in any of the server logs.
There are no entries in the hardware logs. This server
is 100% up to date with the latest APARs.

Any ideas?

An electrical problem will kill a PC in less than one machine cycle.
This leaves very little time to write logs, or even leave any footprints
at all. Failing power supply, bad RAM, faulty/loose cabling, a utility
company or building manager that's out to get you are possible causes of
such instantaneous stops, and there are many others.
