unknown publisher

I am running xp sp2.

when i try to download any files to run from different site like
avast,avg,tune-up. I get the security warning unknown publisher. i save the
file with the same results.

i did read a post on this site about run gpedit.msc, thought i would run
that but file not on my pc.

Can someone please help me.

Click Ignore, Continue Anyway or similar.

gpedit.msc is the Group Policy Editor. It is not availble on XP Home, only
on XP Pro.

that answers that question. but about he other one.

tried to download avast anti virus software. if i choose run this error
appears

Internet explorer- security Warning
Windows has found a problem with this file.
Namd setupeng.exe
Publisher unknown

Only choose is ok

if i choose save it saves and then get very simariar error. can you help
with this problem
