Unknown location of CD copied music

I have experienced a problem with the CD's that I copy to my media player. Everytime I download a CD and attempt to find it under my music I can't. I downloaded music from the Winmx site and they all appeared in "My Music folder" however the Copied Music from a CD can't be accessed out side the media player itself. the destination for the copied music is "MY Music" but it seems not to get there. I had recently gotten a new computer and I never had this problem before with the older version of the WIndows Media Player. If someone could shed some light on this topic for me I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks again
