Unknow Login Password

I have been given a temporary project that is not starting off on the right
foot.
I have a win2k machine that i need to add into a network (easy so far) but
no one knows the logon password. Is there a way to find the password or to
delete the existing one and reset it?
Any assistance is muchly appreciated.
