Unistalling XP

Brent

I just installed XP on my second computer. When I was
setting up the network and trying to install the driver
from a disk, the My Computer window would freeze up. I
tried the disk in the other computer and it is fine.

I have pretty well determined that I have a bad install.
I went to Add/Remove Programs to uninstall XP so I could
revert back to my old OS and Voila! "there are no
programs installed on this computer".

Here's my question: How do I uninstall XP now?

If Uninstall Windows XP is not in the list of installed programs, you must
manually reinstall Windows 98 or Windows Millennium Edition. In this case,
make sure that you back up all your critical data before you reinstall
Windows 98 or Windows Millennium Edition.

As you have evidently lost the uninstall backup (or never made one) all
you can do is use the original System's setup to at least remove the
Windows folder and then reinstall, preferably followed, after backing
up data by doing a complete clean install after formatting
