I tried to instal a labtec webcam on my computer. It did not work properly,
I unstalled it from the computer but it continues to show up in the programs
area where you go to uninstall a program, when I hit uninstall i get this
error message: error loading
C://progra~\common~1\instal~profes~1\runtime\09\00\intel32\ctor.dll
the specified module could not be found

how do i fix this any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi,

It probably just means the uninstall string just exists in the registry, and
the error occurs because it did its job and removed the program files and
folders. Run regedit from the search box, go to this key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

Locate the subkey below this one that corresponds with that software and
delete it.

I would also check the Program Files or Program Files (86) and delete
anything left behind. You should always leave any items deleted this way in
your recycle bin for at least one boot to see if anything in the startup
menu references anything in it. You should then, generally remove the
startup item, but you have the option to restore it.
