uninstalling widows xp

had problem with windows xp. would start up and get to the
screen with all the users names. no names would show.
reloaded xp home and lost all previous stuff. can i undo
that and go back to previous setup??

When you reinstalled Windows XP you created new user accounts, which do not
have access to the old user accounts. This can easily be changed by 'taking
ownership' of the old accounts:
