uninstalling security updates

How does one undo the security updates that come automatically for XP?
I have suddenly lost the ability to save photos from Netscape and see
from the newsgroup that this problem has suddenly happened to others. I
can't think of any reason beyond pure coincidence that several people
should experience the same problem all at once.

The only thing I can think of is that perhaps we all recently downloaded
the latest XP updates and that they are interfering with Netscape's
ability to save files.

The problem does not occur in IE, but I don't ordinarily use IE.
 
Doubtful that any updates are causing it. you might try removing and
reinstalling Netscape before you uninstall and patchs'. if you still wish
to remove them they are in your Add/Remove dialog in the Control Panel.

NOTE: If you remove security patch's you are leaving your system WIDE OPEN
to anyone who want's to get in.

You may be able to uninstall them via Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs.
