Uninstalling right-to-left languages

How can one uninstall complex script and right-to-left language files. I
first installed them via the control panel's "regional and language" dialoge,
but the associated check box is now deactivated and cannot be unchecked. The
files are causing minor but irritating problems. They have caused some
programs to use Arabic and Hebrew letters in places where english ones used
to be.

Thanks.

To remove the complex script and right-to-left language files, clear the check box,
and then click OK or Apply.

Carey,

Thanks for your reply, but, as I mentioned in my original post, the check
box is deactivated; I can neither check it or uncheck it.

Thanks.

I changed my display settings from 32-bit to 16-bit and restarted the
computer. The problem is still there -- i.e., I still can't uncheck the box
that installs the right-to-left language files. (To be sure, the box is not
in the language bar; it is reached from the control panel --> Date, Time,
Language and Regional options --> Regional and Language Options --> Languages
tab --> Supplemental language support --> box.)

Thanks.
