Uninstalling Programmes

I have recently tried to uninstall a couple of games but on one (Rome-Total
War) the install shield wizard starts, gets so far and then stops and on the
other game (Rome-Barbarian Invasion) i get a message that the "Install shield
(R) set up launcher has encountered a problem and cannot continue. Why is
this happening ?

Are you trying from Add/Remove Programs or from within the game?
Whichever you tried, try the other if possible.

The uninstall files may be corrupted.
If that is the case, you may need to install the games so they can be
uninstalled.
Otherwise check for support options at the game manufacturers website.

Thanks for your reply. Have tried uninstalling both ways and no joy. I will
now try installing/uninstalling as suggested.

Me again, Cannot re-install the games as when inserted only the uninstall
button is highlighted.

Then your best option is the game manufacturers web site or them directly.
