Uninstalling Internet Explorer? How?

Can Internet Explorer be completely uninstalled? I
can 't get it done. I can uninstall it's SP1 but not the
entire browser.

After I get it uninstalled I need to reinstall a brand
new fresh Internet Explorer. Can I do that after
uninstalling it completely?

Recap: I want to completely remove Internet Explorer and
start fresh with a brand new install of it. My original
IE has gotten extremely slow. I've done all the usual
cleaning, scanning, checking for spyware, repairing with
it's own interface, repaired Windows from disc, reset my
router and cable modem but it's still very, very slow! I
can't see any other way to fix it besides a full format.

Thanks for your responces in advance.

IE is too tightly integrated into the OS to be able to remove it, but
you can clean it up, then reinstall it if need be. Have you tried in IE,
Tools, Internet Options, Delete Cookies, then Delete Files and checkmark
delete offline content?

Yes I've done all that and more. No viruses, spybot and
ad-aware, repaired IE from it's interface, repaired
Windows from disc, reset my router, reset my modem ect...

Still way, way slow! Only when browsing with IE. I can
open any folder and type a webaddress into it's address
bar and it will open the website fast as normal. But
once inside IE it's majorly slow!!

How are you sugesting I clean it up? Temporary Files and
cookies? Because I've done that and do that regularly.
And when I tried to reinstall it all I get is the option
to repair it because it says Windows found a newer
version already installed.

Thanks, keep em coming!

Open Internet Explorer.
Tools > Internet Options...
In the "Tempory Internet file" section on the General Tab,
click the "Settings..." button.
Check for newer versions of stored pages:
Every visit to the page
Every time you start Internet Explorer
x Automatically
Never
...

Amount of disk space to use: 10MB (or less, I use 3)
