I have WinXP Home on my PC. I've Encyclopedia Britannica 2001 installed and
I'm having a problem uninstalling as I rarely use it and the full app takes
up about 1.2Gb of space. I try doing it the normal way: control panel/add or
remove programs. When I start the uninstall I'm firstly asked whether I want
to remove shared files and I say no to the options, not knowing whether they
are shared or not. The procedure then stalls and I have to CTRL+ALT+DEL to
stop the procedure.
Does anyone have any suggestions how I can overcome this? Should be simple
but it has me stumped.
Thanks
