Uninstalled Norton -- Error 0x0000007B

I uninstalled Norton SystemWorks today. Installed McAfee Int. Security Suite 6. Rebooted. Get blue screen with erro
0x0000007B INACCESSIBLE BOOT DEVICE. Tried safe mode, last known good config., emergency repair, emergency boo
disk. I've tried everything. Nothing works. Always comes up to blue screen with error and will go no further. Obviousl
I would rather not totally reload 2000

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can reboot and get back to work

I think that the canonical article on this is at

left that you have not yet tried.

That this happened immediately after uninstalling one AV product and
installing another makes me wonder if either try to play with your boot
sector, as scary as that sounds. So, check the support forums for both
products.
