The games are part of the system, Chris, and unless you physically removed
them from the hard drive, you should be able to go into Control Panel/Add or
Remove Programs. Once there, click on the Add/Remove Windows Components in
the left pane. On the first screen, with Accessories highlighted, click the
Details button. Next screen, highlight Games and again click Details. Put
check marks in the games you want, then OK your way out.

Chris,

PMFJI...

I have a similar situation. On my Windows XP notebook
PC, the Internet Backgammon game quit working, so I
uninstalled it. When I try to re-install it as you
describe, it asks for my Windows XP CD. Unfornately my
notebook didn't come with a Windows XP CD. It has
Application Recovery CD's (which don't include Windows
components), and System Recovery CD's (which are used to
reformat the drive and re-install Windows after a major
failure).

Neither Sony nor Best Buy have been able to help ... they
just suggest search the CD's I mentioned above for the
ZCLIENTM.EXE file that the install program is looking
for - but it's not there as a free-standing file.

Do you have any suggestions? Thanks in advance...

Thanks, that is the answer. I guess I'm still used to
the Windows CD contents being in \windows\options\cabs.
