Uninstallation Problem

Have XP Media Edition sp2. Had programs installed by Dell before delivery
of computer. Have a Resource Disk but no individual application disks for
the programs installed. One

program, Microsoft Plus! Digital Media Edition, which Microsoft no longer
supports (since 2004), no longer works, i.e. I cannot open any of the
individual components (e.g. audio, photostory, etc.). Of course, I went to
uninstall. There is no UNINSTALL, and it does not appear in Add/Remove. I
found an Installation for this MS program online and downloaded it. I opened
it, and it did not give me an uninstall option, so I attempted to reinstall
Plus! so that I could uninstall it and then reinstall it to correct the
corrupted files. However, it did install the program, but when I went to run
it, it required a Key Code, which I do not have because, again, this product
came on my machine, installed by Dell. (Dell was of no help on this.)

My question is this: Can this product be retrieved from the Resource Disc
that came with my computer? Is there a way to boot up and install ONLY this
application from Dell's Resource disc or from a recovery disc? I do not
want/need to reinstall my OS, I only want to reinstall Microsoft Plus!
Digital Media Edition which is on the Resource disc I believe. If I can, in
fact, install this program from one of these CDs, is the product key included
on the disc? I certainly do not want to do a re-install and then end up with
the same message, asking me for a product key. Dell supplied no product
keys, only a Resource disk and a Files & Utilities disc with my PC (and, oh,
yes, a Sonic My DVD LE and WIN OFFICE 2000 disc).

Thank you to anyone who might be able to help me. I've been searching for
answers now for over two weeks via Dell, the Internet, and many dead or
useless links from MS on this program and what to do.

Hi , did you see if there is/was an "uninstall" for Microsoft Plus!
Digital Media Edition within the files in Program Files ?
