uninstall

hi im trying to uninstall nortons from my computer.
in control panel it says to log in with password
problem is ive just bought pc and it came preinstalled
how can i uninstall it thanks for any advice kirriejim

It sounds like it was installed with a Corporate version of Symantec.
Try calling the PC seller and get the password from them. Otherwise
you may have to do a manual uninstall. There are uninstall tools
available from the Symantec website that may or may not fix your
problem. Try their knowledge base for those tools.
