uninstall

My son installed windows XP home edition on our second
computer but failed to activate it (only one copy so it
can't be activated on a second computer without a
license). The time has elapsed so now I am trying to
uninstall it but in order to activate the uninstall we
have to access the program but we can't access it until
it is registered and we can't register it. What can we do?
 
You can try booting into Safe Mode and see if your previous OS is in the
Add/Remove Control Panel. If not you must format your hard drive and
reinstall the OS you had before.
